Day 11 of Saizen’s 13 Days of Christmas, and… awww yeah, we’re finally there. The end of the Winter Cup Touou game takes place in Kuroko’s Basketball – 43!

We got introduced to the Zone in the last one as Aomine forcibly opened its door. All looked lost for Seirin after that as Aomine had become utterly unstoppable, but then all of a sudden Kagami… Did he really? Are we really going to see an epic laser-eye power battle? Damn skippy, we are.

This episode is one of the most exciting episodes of the entire series if not the single most exciting episode, so make sure you grab it!

Day 9 of Saizen’s 13 Days of Christmas and here’s an episode that everyone who’s in the know has been looking forward to, Kuroko’s Basketball – 42!

The game against Touou rages on in this one as Seirin is still trying to bring things back to even against Touou. The problem is they just can’t manage to stop Aomine. Kuroko has a plan though, but will Aomine really just let Kuroko take him out like that? Or does he have some other tricks up his sleeve? Will he actually enter the…?

This is a really exciting ep, so make sure you grab it and I hope everyone’s having a great first day of the year 😉

Da-da-da-da-dum! Day 7 of Saizen’s 13 Days of Christmas brings us another exciting entry in Kuroko’s Basketball. Before we continue with the Touou game, let’s take a second to look back at his Teiko days with Kuroko in DVD/BD exclusive: Episode 41.5.

The script for this one was built from the ground up and was translated by kokujin-kin (Thanks, koku!). It explores the relationship between Kuroko and Aomine during their times together at Teiko, from their initial meeting to their eventual falling out. Since it’s during their Teiko days, everyone looks a lot younger in the episode. They changed a few scenes in the OP as well, so that was a neat little bonus. It also gives us a bit more insight into Aomine, his motivations, what kind of person he used to be, and how he ended up at Touou before we get to the end of the game against him and his Touou Academy team

Anyway, kick back and give it a watch. It’s pretty cool.

Day 5 of Saizen’s 13 Days of Christmas brings us Kuroko’s Basketball – 41 on Blu-Ray! Check this one out as we saw Kagami’s awakening in the last episode wasn’t quite enough to bring Seirin all the way back against Touou… They still need Kuroko. But Touou has something up their sleeve as they have switched Imayoshi onto him and look to stop Seirin’s comeback in its tracks. Will Kuroko and Seirin take this lying down? How will they respond? Hey, folks. AMS from Team Kuroko over at Saizen here again with the next two episodes of Kuroko’s Basketball for you!

The Winter Cup begins with this double release as Seirin looks to avenge their previous loss to Aomine’s Touou team in the first game of the Winter Cup! We get our first real look at Akashi, the point guard captain of the Generation of Miracles, in 38 as the opening ceremonies of the Winter Cup take place.

In episode 39, the game against Touou starts to get its legs as we get to see some of Kuroko’s growth as well as Hyuga’s. We also get the new opening and ending themes in this one, so I hope you enjoy them. I really like the songs this season, so it was really fun to do these and see KmE work some of his magic. I hope you like them as much as I did.

The release of 39 sees us hit the halfway mark of not only the season, but the series itself as well (There’s a “x.5” episode every season. So while there are only 75 episodes in the series, there are really technically 78 when you include the “x.5” episodes). I want to take a second to personally thank everyone in Saizen who has supported me in getting these episodes out. There’s no way I could’ve done this all on my own.
