Saizen Speedsubs in limbo
Hey there. The fans didn’t come when we asked for help, so here we’re now, with two very busy quality checkers. We normally had a rule to not take more than two days on a task, but lately it’s been broken over and over. Right now, one of the quality checkers hasn’t managed to QC the episode even after four days. In addition to this, I’ve got a baby who often cries when i want to sleep, plus I got the first floor of my house to work at. Needless to say, unless we get two or three new quality checkers, this will be a slow project again.
P.S We can’t either release as “Saizen” since we don’t have enough quality checkers to maintain the usual Saizen quality, leaving releases of the project in complete limbo. I’ve faith that episodes will be translated, timed and edited, but other than that, I can’t say what will happen.
P.P.S I want to stress that Saizen Speedsubs’ Captain Tsubasa project is the only project you will get updates like this for, so do not ask about other projects.
Get ready for some Hajime no Ippo…
So, is everyone excited about the new season? We sure are! Good ole Juggen is leading the project (25 episodes), and we expect to release in a timely fashion, though the first episode might take a bit longer. So look forward to our new project: Hajime no Ippo – Rising

Now we have no reason to hold back when you ask us questions about when and/or why your favorite show isn’t out yet etc.
And apologies to those who got our sometimes harsh treatment with negative remarks. ^^

Captain Tsubasa and Nankatsu’s in danger.
Hello guys. We just lost our editor on Captain Tsubasa. I’ve got eps 33 – 39 translated, but without an editor, we can’t continue this in Saizen. So I’m asking if someone would please join to edit this show for me. And here’s our brand new project for you! Ruri-Saizen have always had a love affair with pirates (all that debauchery and pillaging is cool in our book), so what better way to scratch our eyepatch itch than to sub one of the greatest pirate shows ever created. Yes, One Piece may have started back in 1999 and it may be one of the most recognised anime shows coming out of Japan at the moment, having racked up a total of 589 episodes on its way to worldwide acclaim – but we decided that the only way to do this series justice was by starting from episode 1.
So while you finish gorging on your Easter chocolate, here’s episode 1 of One Piece to get you over the post-Easter blues.
