Captain Tsubasa (2002) – 37

When I started writing the release post for this episode of Captain Tsubasa: Road to 2002, the first thing that came to mind was one of the lines in this episode: “This is starting to get interesting!”

Rather than spoiling it for you, I’m just going to let you download and watch this ep yourself.  Enjoy!

Captain Tsubasa (2002) – 36

The title of this post should probably include the word “finally”, but I won’t add it up there.  Instead…  Suffice it to say that the moment you CT2002 fans have been waiting for has FINALLY arrived — the release of episode 36, the next episode documenting Tsubasa’s journey.

In this ep, Tsubasa leaves the Brancos in search of another stage, and his timing turns out to be very good when he ends up at the largest stadium in Europe.  ”What’s the name of that stadium?” you may ask.  I’m not going to tell you!  You’ll have to download and watch this ep to answer that question yourself.  All I’m going to tell you is that it’s an impressive-looking stadium!

Speaking of timing… I’m happy to report that the timing of releases for this series should be picking up very soon, so please start checking back for more exciting episodes of CT2002.  Thanks for being patient during this long drought — no CT2002 releases since ep 35 way back in January.  If all goes well, there shouldn’t be any more long periods of time with no Tsubasa excitement.

Having said all this, I won’t keep you any longer.  Now, go download this ep of Captain Tsubasa: Road to 2002 and watch it.  Then, tell me what you think about the impressive stadium that accompanies this release post.  Wouldn’t you just love to watch a match there?!

Captain Tsubasa (2002) – 35

Happy New Year, everyone!

I am happy to report that the first release of Captain Tsubasa: Road to 2002 in 2012 has arrived! What a way to start the new year!

As with the past couple of episodes of this fine series, this episode brings us more of Carlos Santana’s back story. However, it also showcases the remarkable teamwork of the Brancos. Santana is really going to need that rosary of his if Tsubasa and the rest of the Brancos FC have anything to do with it.

So, take a moment (or more) to download this episode of CT2002 and then enjoy the exciting action!

Captain Tsubasa (2002) – 34

As with ep 32, this episode is one in which we learn more backstory — specifically, Santana’s.  So, without further ado, I now present to you the next episode in the saga called, “Captain Tsubasa: Road to 2002”.  Download it and then enjoy learning about how Santana came to be known as “The Son of the Soccer God”.

Captain Tsubasa (2002) – 33

In anime, as in real life, one must face formidable opponents. This is especially true in episode 33 of Captain Tsubasa: Road to 2002 (CT 2002). At this point in his career with the Brancos, Tsubasa is facing a most formidable player: Santana, a man with eyes of steel and a determination to match. Will Tsubasa be able to score against this player, who is also known as the “Soccer Cyborg”? You’ll have to watch this episode of CT 2002 to find out for yourself!

While I’ve been away battling my own formidable opponents in real life, I noticed that several other Saizen Fansubbing projects have been moving forward. Well… I’m happy to report that, with the release of episode 33, Captain Tsubasa: Road to 2002 will be moving forward as well! WooHoo!!

Before I end this release post, I want to take a moment to thank everyone (the rest of the CT2002 team AND the fans who have been downloading this series) for hanging around and waiting patiently for me to get back to work on this project. Thanks for not giving up on me, everyone!!

And now, here’s what y’all have been waiting for: the link to the next episode of CT2002:

Captain Tsubasa (2002) – 32

I enjoyed this episode because it gave us more of Tsubasa’s backstory – specifically, about how he got started with the Brancos. As you’ll soon find out, the soccer played in Brazil is different than the soccer played in Japan.

Btw…  I can totally relate to what Tsubasa experiences in this episode as I am currently in the process of doing the same thing – moving to a different area to pursue a dream of mine. This is the main reason why the release of episode 32 of CT 2002 has been delayed. I’m going to do my best to keep up with my editing of this series, but future eps may be delayed as well, especially since I’ll be without 24/7 Internet access after this Thursday. So, please bear with me as I move to pursue my dreams. I just wish that I could travel as lightly as Tsubasa does for his trip “To the New Field”.
