Hajime no Ippo: Rising – 14

Yo!

As Ippo is strolling around, thinking of the dream of his, Umezawa is preparing to announce his big news of his own dream! This episode really hit the feels as well as being funny, typical Ippo episode. ^^
There’s been a lack of releases other than those of Ippo as of late, hopefully it’s something we can change in the near future. ^^

Hajime no Ippo: Rising – 12-13

Yo!

Time to grab the new episode of… EPISODES of Ippo. =) Apparently time goes backwards in Japan and we’re back a decennium to 2004 where double episodes was the norm. ^^ Watch the resolution of Makunouchi vs Sawamura, who will be the one getting crushed? *laugh* šŸ˜‰

Enjoy and wish me luck on my first job!

Hajime no Ippo: Rising – 11 & Happy New Year!

Yo!

This will be the last episode of the year 2013! It wasn’t meant to take this long, but shit happened, incl Christmas, and I finally moved in to my new apartment. ^^

I’d like to thank everybody who’s been supporting Saizen throughout all these years and any new fans, and next year we’ll be celebrating our 10th year in the fansubbing business. =) Thanks to all the staff who’s made it possible to stick around for this long, and somehow making us release more for each year that has gone. Thanks to all those who’s left us for their contribution while still being active. Thanks, everyone, for making fansubbing enjoying, and hope you’ll all have a nice evening and a happy new year! See ya in 2014! ^^

No longer looking for new editor on Ippo!

Unfortunate news!
kokujin-kun wants to help fansub Saikin Imouto for another group, which airs about the same time as Ippo, and therefore wants to be relievedĀ from editing if possible, since he’s also translating it for us right now. So we’re now looking for a new editor on Ippo. To get that position, you must have a strong interest in Ippo, not be a slacker, and preferably have previous experience, but it’s not a must.

Leave us a message at saizen.recruits@gmail.com or join #saizenĀ orĀ #saizen^recruits on the Rizon network on IRC.

Hajime no Ippo: Rising – 10

Yo!

Lots have happened as of late, some good, some sad, but at least we can count on Ippo staying the same every week…
Nope, even Ippo who otherwise is the best part of Sundays comes with bad news this week… for you. ^^
The next episode won’t air until Dec 28th, meaning we can take a breather, but that we’ll also have to wait for the Sawamura match until then. ^^

Hajime no Ippo: Rising – 09

Yo!

We did it! Just under 24 hours after release. šŸ˜›
This episode actually contain some pretty sweet scenes from a certain spar, but that’s not all, fasten your seatbelts Russian fans out there, because you’re in for a ride. the Ippo crew ignores the mainstream of using cool English words and start a new trend(?), using Russian gibberish instead. ^^
