Kuroko’s Basketball – 53-54

Hey, everyone. It’s been a while. Here are the next two episodes of Kuroko’s Basketball on Blu-Ray for your viewing pleasure. Kise’s showdown with Haizaki reaches its conclusion in the first episode, and, in the next, Kagami wakes up in the morning to take on the winner only to find himself in the situation above. We also get our first in-game action with Akashi in this one as Midorima and his Shutoku team face-off against Rakuzan in the first Winter Cup semifinal game. Lots going on in these 2 eps, so as always…

Enjoy!

P.S.  Good news! We got the next 4 volumes on Blu-Ray (even though they only became available 2 days after I bought 3 of them >_>), so we’ll probably be picking up steam with Kuroko over the next couple months. Also, the Last Game movie debuted in Japan last Saturday, and we’re looking for a raw. Let us know if you find one.

P.S.S. Bad news/Good News. Major is on hiatus as we work out a potential new raw situation that’s rather fluid right now. I’ll still try to translate the next couple scripts and frame the episodes, but we won’t be timing or typesetting anything until we work out the raw situation (which is potentially a very good thing).

  1. Sir, can you please do 8 bit 1080p encodes of Kuroko’s Basket S03,

Please sir, I will really appreciate the effort. It would mean a lot to me if you would agree to do this…

  2. I have to admit it seems a shame to see so much effort going into these modern series that already have good releases, and even stuff like Captain Tsubasa while classics like Kyojin no Hoshi, Ace wo Nerae 2 and others go by untouched… but thanks anyway.

  3. Let’s see… First person asks about something to do with 8-bit or 10-bit (the answer is a hard no like I said on nyaa on the same episode to the same question), second person genuinely thanks us (thank you. seriously), and the third person bemoans that I’m not his personal subbing bitch and wants me to do a couple garbage old shows, one of which is 180+ eps long from the 60s and the other is a tennis shojo ova set sequel in the 80s to the series run in the 70s (cuz I’ve done so many epic tennis shojos before this). In the anidb description for the show, it states, I shit you not, “The relation between Hiromi and its trainer is narrower at personal level but it exceeds the teacher-student bond with great difficulty.” I really don’t know why I haven’t jumped at doing this yet… really /s

Those first three comments illustrate what I like to call The Fansub Trifecta, folks 😉

  4. Well it also happens to be a Dezaki anime and the other one was created by the same guy who created Ashita no Joe, but that was kind of besides the point. The actual title is irrelevant so much as there’s probably something you like out there which hasn’t been translated at all yet. It just seems kind of crazy that you’re actually translating this stuff as if there was some great hidden meaning in these new shows that didn’t come across the first time it was translated.

Also to be clear I’m not asking you or telling you to do anything, just commenting on how weird what you’re doing seems to me.

Please carry on though by all means. ^^

  5. Wow. Just wow. Would you like the template?

P.S. Your comments are asking for something. Don’t worry though. I already understand that you’re an entitled uninformed self-absorbed dipshit who doesn’t really know the first thing about what he’s talking about. But, please… carry on by all means.

  6. Well, maybe I have to stop subbing Captain Tsubasa as it’s not even considered classic… 🙁
So what have I been doing for the last three years? I’ve been editing the series from ep 34, believing that I’m subbing the most famous football anime. I have now only some episodes left to edit, which means I’m almost done, though it’s stalled on QC, with seven episodes there right now. I guess I have to thank Dan1el for opening my eyes and be ashamed for working on “even stuff like Captain Tsubasa.”

My suggestion to Dan1el: if you want something done, do it yourself, instead of complaining here. You want a certain series subbed? Create a fansub group and make your dreams real.

And, yes, we’re all crazy for continuing fansubbing even after comments like that.

  7. I can see I may have ruffled some feathers here and for that I’m sorry.

You guys keep rolling that boulder up hill and I’ll try to stay quiet and out of the way from now on!

  8. Well said, konnakude. I’m looking forward to your fansubbing group, dan1el. Or actually looking forward to see you stall, or not even complete an episode 😛

  9. Sangofe: Besides, dan1el didn’t know that johnnyenglishsubs are doing Ace wo Nerae 2 anyways.

rytoz: It still beats doing that to anyone from Hokuto no Gun.

  10. Hey, what happened to the files? Episodes 53 and 54 don’t seem to be available on Nyaa anymore. Are there any DDL files?
