Taisho 6 (BD)

What’s with the shocked faces… we never said we were going to drop it. On the contrary an awesome fan has aided us by providing the remaining BD episodes (thank you thank you thank you…) :). Let us all rejoice and commence with building a memorial in their name. Scratch that let’s just finish the series. So look forward to the remainder of the series; it won’t be fast, but slow and steady we’ll get to the finish line :P.

Also if you enjoyed our classic subs and are good with Japanese translations, we got some oldies just waiting to see the light of day if you can help.

  1. AWESOME. And thank you, CP!

Will the batch release be all-BD, or should I get the TV versions of the earlier episodes?

  2. @Margaan: Saizen has already previously released ep 1-5 based on BD, so you should be able to find torrents if you look some months back.

  3. There will be a batch once we’ve completed all the episodes, current batch is for BD episodes 1-5. TV ones are available too (episodes 1-3)but we’ve switched over to Blu-Ray as the source since episode 4. The only difference will be that the batched files won’t have the CRC in the file name since we’ll be using a SFV file for the checksum.

  4. I’m an idiot for not actually checking that torrent (I assumed it was TV)—now I see that it’s got your awesome notes as well, and I’m also a sucker for notes. Keep up the good work!

  5. Thanks for working on this great show! I can’t wait to see the rest of it, so I hope you’ll be able to do the rest of the episodes! 🙂

  6. Well, seing as Blakbunnie27 is aiming for the Olympics as a professional athlete (this is not a joke), and has not translated further than episode 7, it sounds very unlikely, but of course I cannot give a certain reply to this as I am not even part of the project.

  7. Are you people ever going to finish translating and subtitling the BD rips (+ specials) of this series? It’s been 8 months now and the last episode translated & subbed has been episode 6 (released on September 8, 2010)? Saizen has been working on other Anime–when is Taisho going to be finished?

  8. Unfortunately, the same people aren’t subbing/leading this project as the others, hence this goes in it’s own pace, which happens to be pretty damn slow.

    Looking forward: -check-
    not fast: -check-
    slow: -check-
    steady: -not check-
    finish line: -not check-
