Yo!

Yawara is back, this time in sweet high definition! We previously released the first episode, but this time looking better than ever as we also added karaokes for them extra swag points. ^^ This time around, every episode will also have proper typesetting made compared to the somewhat lazy approach with the DVDs. ^^ So soon(TM) you’ll have the complete series in real high quality. 😉

Hey, everyone!  How’s it going?  Things are still kicking here over at Saizen and here’re the last 2 eps for Season 1 of Kuroko’s Basketball on blu-ray.  Check out Aomine and Kise fight it out till the bitter end in this one as they set up the second season.

As far as plans for a batch of this goes, I’ll repeat what I’ve said for months now.  There’ll be one.  Probably in a month or so.  I don’t know if there’ll be any V2s yet.  I need to look through everything and decide on some things.  We still have the Volume 9 bloopers to finish on top of that… Nevermind all the other stuff I’m working on over here.

Which leads me to… announcing that we’re working on the OAD, バカじゃ勝てないのよ!  Expect that before the batch torrent for Season 1 comes out!

As far as season 2 goes… We don’t have any of the bdmvs right now for it.  If you have them or know where to get them, please contact us.  We are interested in them and it is something that we will probably do in the future at some point.  I just have no idea as to when that would be right now.

Also, you may have noticed I have added little magnet icons beside the filename.  These are magnet links to the torrent.  With nyaa currently down, we’ve added these and will add the torrents to nyaa whenever they get back up 😉

Hayao Miyazaki’s Yuki’s Sun [Blu-Ray]

Hey, everyone!  AMS here with something massive for you!  Here is Hayao Miyazaki’s solo directorial debut that was an unaired pilot from 1972, Yuki’s Sun.  It is a short, approximately 5 minute long pilot for an anime adaptation of Chiba Tetsuya’s manga of the same name.  It played in Aeon Theaters last year in Japan (screening with The Wind Rises from December 26 to January 13) and was recently added as the first bonus disc in the recently released The Collected Works of Hayao Miyazaki blu-ray collection.

A great big thanks to everyone who helped get this out in a rather timely manner for us.  As an added bonus, we’ve included a Japanese language subtitle track in this one for those who are interested.  Here’s the staff role call for this one:

Hey, everyone!  AMS here again with some more Kuroko for you.  I know you probably thought ep23 was coming next because of the next episode preview at the end of 22, but on the Blu-Rays, this “Tip Off” OVA is next in the sequential order.  This OVA is a flashback to the Generation of Miracles’ days at Teiko Middle School and when Kise first joined their legendary basketball club.  It’s a pretty nice little piece of back story to set up their high school game against one another that starts the next episode. Enjoy!
