Do my eyes deceive me? Saizen has revived this project from the crypt where we keep all of our stalled projects to bring you the 7th episode of H2, and while it took a little while for us to get this out (read: 2 years), we hope you’ll enjoy this brief visit back to the adventures of the best battery in anime. Sadly, we can’t tell you when we’ll be able to take you back there again as our project team has been decimated by the relentless march of time, but we firmly believe that where there’s a will, there’s a way, so we’ll keep at it. If you, dear viewer, have any interest in helping us out with this show, jump over to our join page and let us know what you can offer.
And on our 10th birthday, we’re pleased as punch. Look how wide our grin is! We’re so happy that we’ve given H2 a complete overhaul from the bottom up, changing the styles and redoing the TS and karaokes for the OP and ED. We’re releasing v2’s of each episode we’ve already released to reflect this, as well as to update some minor translation issues that our early releases had. Watch us knock it out of the park!
And Saizen’s birthday bonanza just keeps on rolling on. There’ll be more releases along later, so keep your eyes peeled and your fingers on those mouse buttons.
Here’s to another 10 years at the top ^^ *KAMPAI*
TL NOTE: At 20:30 in this episode, Hideo gets Kine’s name wrong and calls him Fune. Kine’s response is a reference to the manga/anime, Sazae-san, whose parents were called Fune and Namihei.
Release 4 of Saizen’s 10th anniversary release bonanza!
In a shamefully sexist display, Haruka fondles Hiro’s chest, leading to the Baseball Club being disbanded due to the ensuing sexual harrassment lawsuit. Which I guess means the Soccer Team wins their baseball game by default?
Don’t forget to visit Sigh Subs Or not, because their site is down :S
This is how you look chill, watching a baseball game. Take note, dudes.
I forgot to mention that there were two points that required a little translation note-ry in this episode.
04:34 Hikari, Kodama, Nozomi and Tsubasa are the names of the trains that serve Japan’s many, many commuters.
21:28 Here, they’re playing a word game that’s a favourite of lots of Japanese children (and anime scriptwriters, it seems) called Shiritori, which involves the second person saying a word that starts with the final syllable of the word the first person says. Technically, the game ends when someone says a word ending in ~n, but this game ends with baseball (yakyuu) to show that, for our heroes at least, baseball is the be all and end all [/deep]
Finally back with more H2. Unfortunately this time, I have to write the news post… :/
Sending the only guy who’s not working on this show. 😛 I guess I should eventually watch this show, though. What do you guys think, worth the watch? ^^
Sorry for messing around with the torrent, but recently we’ve had trouble with releasing on TokyoTosho, and apparently it’s because our website info isn’t allowed.
